64AV is a dedicated QuickTime video I/O card designed for the Apple platform, supporting QuickTime applications such as Final Cut Pro HD 4.5 ™, Adobe After Effects™, Discreet Combustion™ and Apple Shake™.
64AV harnesses the power of Final Cut Pro HD 4.5 ™'s RT Extreme real-time effects technology allowing seamless real-time playback of effects eliminating the need to render. Features include 8 and 10 Bit 4:2:2 uncompressed support for RT Extreme. Effects include real time 3-way color-correction, cross-dissolves, additive dissolves and many other transitions and filters.
64AV supports Photo-JPEG playback and capture, facilitating offline editing.
The 64AV includes an onboard keyer that allows the overlay of video or graphics over the SDI input stream in real time. Internal keying is a powerful feature and is useful for live broadcast environments and branding of footage.
The 64AV has full genlocking capability. The output circuits are fully decoupled from the input circuits for unconditionally stable video outputs - even during capture where the card performs as a synchronizer. SDI Outputs meet SMPTE specs (including jitter) at all times with or without genlock.
64AV incorporates advanced audio features with 6 channels of quality 24 bits AES/EBU Digital audio at 48khz, perfect for surround sound editing. In addition 64AV has sample rate converters on all input channel pairs for non sync audio input (32kHz- 100kHz).
