CalPC is the first PC monitor calibration software to support multiple profiles. With CalPC, you can set your monitor to be brighter during the daytime in a room filled with natural light, for example, and reduce the light output at night when it is not needed and is perceived as glare.
Monitor calibration is especially important to anyone who connects a digital camera to their PC, and particularly those who use color correction software such as PhotoShop. “How can you adjust colors in a picture if the colors on your monitor aren’t right?†asks Joshua Quain, SpectraCal’s Director of Marketing.
Like SpectraCal’s award-winning software CalMAN, the industry standard solution for calibrating home theaters and other video displays, CalPC offers extremely accurate and precise calibration to recognized industry standards.
The calibration process is consists of four simple steps that can be accomplished in less than 10 minutes. Proper calibration can reveal detail you’ve never seen before.
With monitors that provide the interfaces, CalPC can directly set monitor controls. The controls are also exposed on the CalPC screen for further tweaking if desired.
Using the included colorimeter, CalPC automatically sets the white balance and color definitions, then writes an ICC Profile to save the monitor characteristics for future use.

CalPC can be used on laptop displays, desktop displays, netbooks, and even systems with multiple monitors.
After calibration, a CalPC client remains resident to manage profiles and look-up tables (LUTs).
