Avitech is dedicated to serving the needs of broadcast professionals responsible for a variety of systems. Designed with flexibility in mind, MCC-8004 multiviewers allow users to combine a broad range of video and analog A/V signals on displays. MCC-8004 modules are each equipped with connectors for four (4) discrete video inputs. To provide audio support, the modules allow audio inputs in either four (4) pairs of analog stereo or balanced/unbalanced AES/EBU. Digital embedded audio can be extracted from HD/SD-SDI video streams.
The MCC-8004 series offers great control over display outputs, enabling configurations ranging from a simple quad split to a virtual monitor wall with 60 inputs through cascading. Input windows can be freely resized and positioned on displays. Customizable on-screen labels, borders, alarms and optional meters allow users to configure work platforms according to their needs.
Avitech’s products ensure reliability. With No Single Point of Failure technology, MCC-8004 modules are designed to isolate system failures from individual modules. Even if a malfunction occurs in one module of a cascaded series, Avitech’s innovative technology allows the signal inputs of other cascaded modules to continue functioning at full capacity.
The MCC-8004 is usable out of the box without software configuration. Compatibility with Avitech’s Galaxy control software allows for greater customization of presets and displays, while also providing an interface with leading routing switchers, production switchers and tally management systems. The optional TACP-100 touchscreen control panel provides convenient and seamlessly integrated one-touch control for a number of multiviewer functions, making configuration easier on-the-fly.
